The new Specialized Purgatory is the true “Swiss Army knife” of trail tires: an extremely versatile tire designed to deliver reliable performance across a wide variety of terrains. The tread pattern makes it effective on both soft, sandy surfaces and compact ground, always ensuring control and confidence.

Square-section knobs provide excellent traction even on the loosest terrain while still offering strong support on compact surfaces. The central section with Block-In-Block technology rolls smoothly and adapts to the ground, giving great confidence when riding at high speed. The staggered side knobs improve predictability and cornering control, making handling stable and progressive.

The compound GRIPTON® T9 delivers a high level of grip, ideal for tackling technical and demanding trails. The GRID Trail carcass with 60 TPI construction features reinforced bead-to-bead protection, offering excellent puncture resistance, sidewall stiffness and overall stability without compromising ride sensitivity.

Thanks to Tubeless Ready technology, the Purgatory allows use at lower pressures, improving traction and comfort on the trail.
