We are excited to introduce our first special edition of the OSPW RS system. The new versions Silver and Niro offer a clean aesthetic and a distinctive graphic element in the design of the OSPW RS cage.
The dark model Niro is paired with black ALPHA Disc pulleys, while the silver model Silver presenta ALPHA Disc pulleys in silver.
With the OSPW RS for Shimano Road groupsets, we bring the OSPW system into the future with a modern, angular design. The new style adds balance and refinement, seamlessly integrating with current trends in frame and groupset design, of which the OSPW RS is an integral part.
Optimized shift time
Active Debris Remover (ADR)
ADR is a patent-pending technical feature that uniquely combines a redesigned dust cover, anchored in a groove in the pulley, that completely isolates the bearing.
is paired with a grooved structure that surrounds the dust cover and that, during rotation, dynamically removes debris and mud from the pulley.
ADR was developed through the ongoing collaboration between our R&D department, the CeramicSpeed test lab, and the feedback collected from some of our professional off-road teams.
ALPHA Disc
The new OSPW RS is also available with the extremely durable ALPHA Disc pulleys, originally introduced on the OSPW X model for Eagle Transmission.
The ALPHA Disc has a two-component design: a narrow-wide profile made of composite material that provides wear protection and noise reduction, and a solid aluminum disc that prevents foreign objects from entering between the pulley spokes, adding stiffness and strength.
The first versions of the full-disc design were field-tested during the Cyclocross World Cups and were subsequently adopted in the 2022 season by the Tormans-sponsored team, which confirmed their excellent performance in extremely muddy conditions.
