La massima velocità è sempre stata l'obiettivo principale per la progettazione delle Demo. Il design del telaio prevede la flessibilità nel montaggio delle ruote e permette al rider di montare una ruota anteriore da 29 pollici e una posteriore da 27,5. Una combinazione già testata dal Campione del Mondo Loic Bruni che cercava l'equilibrio perfetto tra trazione e manovrabilità, ora anche approvata da parte dell’UCI. La Demo Race è salita al vertice della classifica mondiale ed in Coppa del Mondo nella sua prima stagione.
La traiettoria dell'assale posteriore minimizza l'effetto degli impatti di ostacoli sulla ruota posteriore, aumentando la velocità. Le sospensioni Öhlins dalla cinematica molto apprezzata nel circuito della Coppa di Mondo, insieme alla trasmissione SRAM X01 specifico per il DH rendono la Demo Race l'arma perfetta per ogni run.
- The Demo Race M5 alloy frame is fully optimized to take advantage of the traction benefits of a 29-inch front wheel and the increased manueverability of a 27.5-inch rear wheel while maintaiining the ability to change your rear wheel size to suit different terrain and riding styles with an adjustable rear end that ensures chainstay length and bottom-bracket height stay dialed no matter the hoop size.
- Il design del telaio in lega M5 prevede il montaggio di una ruota anteriore da 29 pollici, perfetta per la trazione, e una posteriore da 27,5, più manovrabile. Allo stesso tempo è possibile optare per una 29er anche sul posteriore per accomandare diversi stili di guida o tipi di percorso. Il carro posteriore è regolabile in tal modo da garantire che la lunghezza dei foderi bassi e l'altezza movimento rimangono tarati, indipendentemente dalla dimensione ruota.
- L'ammortizzatore Őhlins TTX 22M.2 è in grado di affrontare le piste DH più tecniche in Coppa del Mondo.
