The S-Works Aethos frame equipped with the Dura-Ace Di2 groupset was designed to create the perfect combination of ride quality, lightness, and style – to be able to accelerate even on steep climbs, descend the most technical descents, and be comfortable even during long Sunday rides. But you may wonder, how did we do it? We reinvented the traditional shape of the road bike of the past, slightly changing it to optimize stiffness and balance, without compromising weight or durability. With an entirely new lay-up, perfected over many decades, we achieve the lightest frame on the market (585 grams for the S-Works size 56 frame). The Aethos is more than a new bike; it is the beginning of a new generation.
Don't get us wrong, we're all for racing, it's part of our DNA, but sometimes you ride simply for the pleasure of cycling. This is the spirit of the Aethos. We haven't overlooked performance, and the Aethos is the lightest bike in its category, but no compromises have been made in terms of style. Aethos, countless calculations for a single purpose – a perfect ride. When you pair the world's lightest frame with the Shimano Dura Ace Di2 groupset and ultra-light Roval Alpinist wheels, your pedal stroke will be perfectly balanced, leaving nothing to chance in terms of performance.
- A super lightweight frame is useless if the riding characteristics do not inspire confidence. That’s why for the Aethos we sought the perfect mix of stiffness in the front and rear in relation to ride quality. By studying the flexibility and every tiny detail of the carbon fibers, we discovered a lot about how forces travel through the frame. It will only take a few pedal strokes for you to realize that the Aethos represents a new standard in riding.
- Every detail, from the gear hanger to the expander on the stem, has been designed with style, weight, and durability in mind. We have also included the Alpinist carbon fiber seatpost to shave off additional weight and optimize riding characteristics – all for perfect rideability.
Suggestion: To immediately enjoy your new bike, consider adding the "bike assembled and adjusted by Cicli Drigani technicians" option to your cart for €59. With this service, your bike will be delivered assembled, adjusted, and ready to use. Without this option, the bike will arrive as packaged by the manufacturer and will require some technical adjustments before it can be used safely.
