SPECIALIZED RECON 1.0 Shoes 2020 Promo

The goal in designing the Recon 1.0 was simple: to ensure comfort and performance at a great price. Easier said than done, but with the Recon 1.0 we managed to create shoes that are efficient, durable, and comfortable thanks to the Body Geometry design criteria. The nylon sole of the Recon 2.0 features a TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane injection-molded) toe cap for a certain degree of flex we call STRIDE toe-flex for natural walking, while maintaining a stiffness index of 6.0. Efficient for pedaling and comfortable when off the bike.

• We have also slightly raised the heel for an even more natural walk. The SlipNot rubber on the sole provides traction on any terrain.
• Three Velcro straps make it easy to put on: a design created for comfort and performance on winding singletrack, but also on gravel trails.
• Ergonomically designed Body Geometry sole and insole, scientifically tested for high power transfer, to increase efficiency and reduce the risk of injury by optimizing hip, knee, and foot alignment.
• La STRIDE toe-flex technology of the injection-molded nylon sole allows natural forefoot movement while maintaining a stiffness index of 6.0.
• Sole with SlipNot™ rubber sculpting for greater grip and durability in all conditions.
• Compatible with 2-bolt MTB pedal clip-in systems.
