The Specialized Epic 8 EVO is the fastest downcountry bike in the range, designed to combine capability on technical trails, climbing efficiency, and overall lightness. It is the most fun-oriented and aggressive-riding version of the new Epic 8, conceived for those who love to push hard on singletrack without sacrificing control on descents.

Thanks to the new kinematics and 120 mm of rear travel, the Epic 8 EVO offers extremely efficient climbing performance and great security on technical terrain. The 130 mm fork further increases its descending capability, making it perfect for modern downcountry use.

Compared to the previous generation, the new Epic 8 absorbs 12% more impacts and vibrations, reducing rider fatigue and allowing more energy to be maintained throughout the ride. At the same time, the optimized kinematics reduce unwanted movement during pedaling by 20%, keeping the suspension active for better obstacle management.

The Ride Dynamics calibration developed by the Specialized team is specific to this model and works in synergy with the kinematics to improve stability, control, and smoothness on every terrain. Completing the package are the SWAT 4.0 compartment integrated into the down tube and the integrated headset lock, which protects the frame in case of falls or sudden steering movements.
