Product Details
Maximum speed has always been the main goal in the design of the Demo. The frame design allows flexibility in wheel mounting and lets the rider fit a 29-inch front wheel and a 27.5-inch rear wheel. A combination already tested by World Champion Loic Bruni who sought the perfect balance between traction and maneuverability, now also approved by the UCI. The Demo Race reached the top of the world rankings and the World Cup in its first season.
The rear axle trajectory minimizes the impact effect of obstacles on the rear wheel, increasing speed. The Öhlins suspension with highly appreciated kinematics in the World Cup circuit, together with the SRAM X01 transmission specific for DH, make the Demo Race the perfect weapon for every run.
- The Demo Race M5 alloy frame is fully optimized to take advantage of the traction benefits of a 29-inch front wheel and the increased maneuverability of a 27.5-inch rear wheel while maintaining the ability to change your rear wheel size to suit different terrain and riding styles with an adjustable rear end that ensures chainstay length and bottom-bracket height stay dialed no matter the hoop size.
- The M5 alloy frame design allows mounting a 29-inch front wheel, perfect for traction, and a more maneuverable 27.5-inch rear wheel. At the same time, it is possible to opt for a 29er also on the rear to accommodate different riding styles or types of terrain. The rear triangle is adjustable so that the chainstay length and bottom bracket height remain calibrated, regardless of wheel size.
- The Öhlins TTX 22M.2 shock absorber is capable of handling the most technical DH World Cup tracks.
