The Specialized S-Works Torch Wide represents the pinnacle of innovation in road cycling footwear, born from the union of Body Geometry technology, biomimetics, data analysis, and craftsmanship. The result is a shoe designed to deliver maximum performance and a comfort so natural that you forget you're wearing it.
Thanks to the analysis of biometric data collected with the RETÜL system, Specialized has optimized every detail of the upper to ensure a precise and stable fit. The BOA® closure system has been repositioned and strategically angled to eliminate the need for a Velcro strap, offering a cleaner structure, better pressure distribution, and more efficient power transfer.
Adaptive materials allow the foot to move naturally, while targeted reinforcements maintain maximum stability during pedaling. The new carbon sole is 4 mm wider than the standard version (8 mm wider than the S-Works 7), improving ergonomics and alignment without compromising stiffness and lightness.
Based on RETÜL data, the heel shape has also been redesigned with an asymmetric design, which offers more space for the Achilles tendon and increases comfort without losing connection and precision in pedaling.
