La Diverge E5 is built on a premium E5 aluminum frame paired with a full FACT carbon fork, offering a fast, stable, and comfortable ride on any type of terrain: asphalt, dirt, or coarse gravel.
The Shimano Claris 2x8 groupset ensures a wide and versatile range of gears, while the Axis Elite aluminum wheels with 38 mm Pathfinder Sport tires offer smooth rolling on the road and excellent grip on compact dirt trails.
The large tire clearance is one of the key elements of the Diverge: up to 47 mm with 700c wheels and 2.1” with 650b wheels.
This was made possible thanks to an intelligent design of the lower right dropout that uses a machined alloy insert, avoiding fragile solutions such as a lowered dropout or excessive extensions of the frame.
The E5 aluminum frame offers a stiff, lightweight, and durable platform. Together with the full carbon fork, the Diverge E5 Base becomes an agile, responsive bike ready to tackle any surface.
We have completely redesigned the traditional gravel geometry:

All these elements improve stability and safety on dirt roads, while maintaining a responsive and dynamic ride on the road, thanks to the adoption of shorter stem clamps that balance the new geometries.
The bottom bracket has been lowered to improve stability, but remains high enough for use with 650b wheels.
Finally, the Diverge is equipped with numerous mounts for racks, including on the fork and top tube, so you can carry everything you need, wherever you want to go and for as long as you want to stay out.
