Progress of the 80s
In the early 1980s, the founder of Cicli Drigani was joined by his son Livio, who commercially opened the "borders" of the shop towards the city of Turin. These were years of great fervor and development for our history and for the world of the bicycle; in this period a novelty enters the market which is destined to overturn the way of pedaling: the mountain bike arrives. The bike with "fat" wheels will bring many innovations to the system, involving all sectors of cycling.
The first competitions and the 90s
We also started the Mtb races immediately, participating and organizing competitions with our team that takes on the strangest names: Carote Roventi, Rotule Folli and others, obtaining significant results in various competitions in the province of Turin and throughout Piedmont. Commercially, from the end of the 1980s, Cicli Drigani became the official dealer of the Bianchi Reparto Corse brands and of the then new Californian brand Specialized of the visionary Myke Synard. Over the years, our headquarters in Borgaro Torinese has evolved, innovating and growing while remaining linked to our history and to the most reliable and well-known brands in the sector.
2021: A NEW BEGINNING
Our dream comes true
On August 13 a chapter closed, or perhaps the first book written so far. A book started in the small Via Vecellio in Mappano Canavese thanks to the passion of "Grandfather" Valerio, his brilliant ideas, his dexterity: stories of handcrafted looms, hand-built lenticular wheels, hubs invented from nothing, boxes and boxes of Columbus pipes , and the first MTBs. The desire to grow gave us the opportunity, in 2017, to move to the headquarters in Via Parrocchia, our home until 2021: Carbon, Mtb Full, the first 29er. Suspension tuning, biomechanics, the first ebikes, disc racing bikes, power meters. A shop that has grown over time, or perhaps it would be more correct to say evolved. Evolution that has given us the opportunity to start a new chapter, of which we are very proud: the opening in the new headquarters in Via Lanzo 207, in Borgaro Torinese.
