- For the construction of the new FACT 8r carbon fiber frame, we used software employed in the aerospace industry to optimize composite materials.
- Five hundred carbon pieces that make up seven different frame sizes with the same riding quality – this is what Rider-First Engineered™ is. Each frame has its own layup schedule calibrated for specific performance targets, thanks to the fiber orientation, the amount of material in specific areas, and dedicated carbon quality.
- Aerodynamics is an essential factor if we want to make you go faster. Our goal was therefore to seek advantages in this regard, without compromising the lightness of the Tarmac. During the development period, we discovered where we could achieve results—a new profile for the fork and lowered vertical stays with an aerodynamic profile. The result is a bike that is about 30 seconds faster over a distance of 40km compared to other bikes in the same category.
- The Performance Road geometry is based on Retül data collection and input from professional athletes, refining the combination of a responsive front end with a short wheelbase, achieving instant responses and optimal power transfer.
