High Road SL is the first Maxxis tire to use our new HYPR-S compound. Built on the success of the HYPR compound that debuted on the original High Road, the new HYPR-S compound maintains exceptional grip while reducing rolling resistance by 12%. Being a super lightweight tire with limited puncture protection, High Road SL is recommended for race use only. It is designed to be fast, and durability is not its priority. High Road SL is suitable for time trials, velodrome racing, or any other situation where a cyclist wants the lightest possible setup.
