What sets this new model apart is primarily the carbon fiber rim with a "twill" finish. Thanks to Fulcrum's 2-WAY FIT technology, the new model is perfectly compatible with both tubeless tires and clinchers. The manufacturing method of the carbon fiber rim without holes results not only in a structure ideal for tubeless or clincher tires (thanks to the feature of being hole-free except for the valve hole), but also offers a stronger and more robust construction capable of withstanding even the most extreme racing conditions. The combination of the versatile tire choice and the wider, more modern rim allows for better adaptation to wider tire formats, increasingly popular not only among amateurs but also professionals. The internal rim width measures 19 mm for an extremely aerodynamic tire profile (starting from a width of 23 mm), compared to the distinctly aerodynamic 40 mm rims, whose sophisticated shape reaches a maximum width of 26.5 mm.

Top performance requires 360° efficiency: OLTRE aerodynamic qualities, the key words are therefore lightness and smoothness, features ensured by the use of extremely efficient USB ceramic bearings, which minimize the coefficient of friction and eliminate internal friction, enhancing forward movement. The bearings are housed in a front hub made of carbon fiber and a rear hub made of alloy, with drillings specifically designed to eliminate excess material, keeping the total weight at an optimal scale value of just 1470 grams per pair.
