When you're tackling a challenging descent, the last thing you want to worry about is whether your helmet will provide enough protection. On the other hand, wearing a full-face helmet on every trail ride isn't practical. That's why we created the Ambush Comp, a lightweight helmet with extended coverage at an affordable price.
In terms of protection, the extensive coverage of the Ambush Comp is made of foam material, internally reinforced by the 'Composite Matrix'. This allows for more effective management of impact forces. Even with this increased protection, the profile remains slim and comfortable. The Mindset 360 Fit positioning system offers five height positions, while the integrated dial allows for fine 'on-the-fly' adjustments. The Ambush Comp with our 4th Dimension Cooling is also ventilated thanks to large air intakes and vents, to prevent heatstroke even on the hottest days.
The visor with micro-adjustment includes the housing for the dh-type mask.
