Aethos: countless calculations for a single purpose, a perfect ride.
This frame is the perfect starting point for building the bike of your dreams.
The Aethos frame was designed to create the perfect combination of ride quality, lightness, and style - to accelerate even on steep climbs, descend the most technical descents, and remain comfortable during long Sunday rides. But you might wonder, how did we do it? We reinvented the traditional form of the racing bike of the past, changing it slightly to optimize stiffness and balance, without compromising weight or durability. The Aethos is more than a new bike, it's the beginning of a new generation.
An ultra-lightweight frame is useless if its ride characteristics don't inspire confidence. That's why for the Aethos we sought the perfect mix of front and rear stiffness in relation to ride quality. By studying the flexibility and every minute detail of the carbon fibers, we discovered a lot about how forces travel through the frame. It will only take a few pedal strokes for you to realize that the Aethos represents a new standard of ride.
Every detail, from the derailleur hanger to the expander plug on the stem, was designed with style, weight, and durability in mind. We also included the new Alpinist carbon fiber seatpost to shave off additional weight and optimize ride characteristics - all for the perfect ride quality.
