The Specialized Status 2 is a mountain bike designed for those who want to push beyond the limits and have fun on any terrain. It is a trail bike, a park bike, a jump bike, or a bike for sessions among urban obstacles: its design is born to be ridden anywhere, without compromises and without worrying about grams, but only about fun and durability.
The M5 aluminum frame is built to withstand intensive use, major impacts, and full days on trails or in bike parks. The robust alloy wheels, durable suspensions, and powerful brakes complete a setup designed for aggressive riders who want a reliable bike even in the most demanding conditions.
The geometry and kinematics have been developed by the Specialized Ride Dynamics team to deliver a snappy, responsive, and fun ride, perfect for both technical singletrack and jump lines. The handling is lively and controllable, ideal for those who love a creative and dynamic riding style.
Every Status 2 model is equipped with a flip chip on the rear triangle, allowing you to modify the geometry based on the terrain or riding style. In the low position, the bottom bracket lowers by 8 mm and the steering angle opens by half a degree, increasing stability and safety on faster, more technical routes.
