The Maxxis Assegai tyre takes its name from the assegai, the traditional iron-tipped spear used by the Zulu people of South Africa. Greg Minnaar, three-time Downhill World Champion and native of South Africa, considered this name perfect for a tyre designed to take on every mountain challenge without compromise.

Tall, well-defined knobs effectively bite into dust and loam, providing high traction while also delivering solid, reliable support on more demanding surfaces like roots and wet rocks. Unlike tyres optimized for specific conditions, the Assegai was designed to excel on any terrain, allowing you to maintain speed and control in every situation.

When can I pay with HeyLight in 12 interest-free installments?

HeyLight 12 installments is valid only for customers with tax residence in Italy, and for amounts from 100 to 5000€.

For carts over 5000€, select HeyLight 12/24/36 to pay, at your choice, in 12, 24, or 36 installments, with a TAN of 9.90%.

Are the prices inclusive of VAT?

If you are purchasing from the European Union you are viewing the price including VAT for the respective country, shipping excluded.

How long does shipping take?

The "assembled and adjusted" bikes will be processed and shipped no later than 10 working days.
All other products within 48 working hours, except for NorthWave, Quad Lock, Maxxis, MagicShine, Bryton products which are shipped in 7 working days.
