P ZERO™ SmarTUBE represents the most advanced road inner tube in the Pirelli range, developed to meet the needs for lightness and handling of professional World Tour riders. Originally created for the P ZERO™ Race Tub SL tubular, it is now also available as a replacement for all enthusiasts.

Instead of traditional butyl, TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) is used, a high-performance material that combines elasticity and mechanical resistance. Thanks to these properties, P ZERO™ SmarTUBE is up to 70% lighter, 50% more compact, and has a comparable resistance to that of a classic butyl inner tube.

It is the ideal choice for cyclists who use traditional tires but want to improve their bike’s performance, or for those looking for a light and easily transportable replacement for tubeless-ready tires. It is compatible with disc and rim brakes and equipped with a black Presta valve.

Developed thanks to experience gained in the World Tour, P ZERO™ SmarTUBE brings the technology of Pirelli’s lightest tubulars to the most demanding amateurs.
Its strength is its extreme lightness: with equal performance, it weighs up to 70% less than a standard butyl inner tube, redefining the limits of what is possible in modern cycling.
