The Re-Fuse has been a staple of the Maxxis Road range for two decades, known for the extreme durability of its tread, now reaching its second generation. The new Re-Fuse features a redesigned tread pattern and a new rubber compound, along with improved puncture protection, creating a tire that is faster, lighter, and even more durable than before. It once again positions itself as the top choice for durability, while offering a more sporty ride. Durable doesn’t mean slow! A smooth center with micro-knobs for cornering replaces the full diamond knurling of the previous generation. The new tread design is paired with a new full-silica rubber compound that drastically reduces rolling resistance, also improving grip in wet conditions and making the Re-Fuse ideal for year-round use.
