The rim is made using resins and fibers produced to Fulcrum specifications where, unlike previous versions, forSpeed 42is used ancomposite mix egg ofhigh modulus fibersunidirectionalFF100. 
Thanks to numerous experiments, the perfect fiber mix has been achieved, which, combined with the correct positioning of the fibers and a very precise control of the resin, allows for a product that operates within the correct elastic range, ensuringtop-of-the-class performance features and a superior driving experience.
