Le S-Works Torch represent the latest evolution in the most winning footwear in cycling. Using Body Geometry, biomimetics, data science, and craftsmanship, we have designed a shoe built so precisely that you will forget you are wearing it.
Utilizing data science, we have refined every detail of the S-Works Torch upper for a better fit and unmatched performance. The BOA® cable is shifted downward and angled, preventing the forefoot from lifting. This evolution eliminates the need for a velcro strap while providing a structure that enhances power and eliminates unwanted pressure or pinching. Adaptive materials allow natural foot movement where needed for increased comfort, while data-driven zonal reinforcement keeps the foot wrapped for crisp power output and optimal efficiency.
Guided by OLTRE 100,000 foot scans from our RETÜL data, we recognized that both a standard and a wide sole would be best suited to accommodate the full spectrum of human foot shapes. An internal reinforcement adds stiffness and durability. The result is a weight reduction of 20 grams, increased efficiency, and immediate power transfer.
Always based on RETÜL data, we assessed that more space was needed to accommodate the Achilles tendon in order to increase comfort. We solved the problem by creating an asymmetrical heel cup that offered more space while maintaining an excellent connection. We then ensured optimal knee alignment and greater comfort.

- The new upper features reinforcements where needed, and at the same time is so flexible that it 'disappears' from your feet.
- Based on Retül data collected from foot scans, we have designed a sole that is 4mm wider than the S-Works 7 model.
- We have optimized the shape of the carbon sole by adding reinforcement and eliminating the accumulation of excess material around the perimeter. The result is a weight reduction of 20 grams, greater efficiency, and immediate power transfer.
- Thanks to Retül data, with the updated shape we better accommodate cyclists' feet, providing a snug fit.
- An asymmetrical heel cup supports the medial side and allows material to be removed from the sides and the use of a lower collar.
- The BOA® cable change improves fit while simultaneously reducing pressure on the anterior ankle ligaments.
- BOA® S3-Snap Fit system with independent micro-adjustment, with Boa® warranty.
- The threaded titanium bushings can be reversed to move the cleat back by up to 5mm. Compatible with all major pedals with three-bolt cleats.
