Premio EVO Bibshort has been designed to offer maximum comfort over long distances and to become your all-time favorite shorts. It’s true, that’s a bold claim, but there is a lot of research and development behind these shorts. The chamois is the foundation of the exceptional comfort of the Premio line. The top-of-the-line Progetto X2 Air Seamless padding actually consists of two distinct components: the Skin Care Layer, soft and elastic against the skin, designed exclusively to eliminate any chafing, and beneath it, the Cushioning Layer, which includes two separate foam inserts with different densities and perforated, breathable gel inserts under the ischial bones and perineum. Comfort is also ensured by the shorts’ construction, with only three panels and fewer seams. We created a new fabric that adapts to the needs of different parts of the body. The lower leg features a raw-cut finish and rubberized yarns that provide a flat grip to keep the leg in place. The fabric becomes lighter on the thigh, while the 4-way stretch section offers the right muscle support. In the pelvic area, compression and support increase to keep the chamois and everything else securely in place. On the back, the fabric is thicker to prevent any transparency. The straps are also made from this high-quality fabric. The perforated back section allows for thermoregulation, while the edge is bonded rather than sewn for reduced thickness. The elastic fabric straps are soft and stretchy for perfect support and freedom of movement. The straps are also designed to distribute the load over the shoulders for greater comfort. They narrow where they join the shorts, offering increased breathability and eliminating unnecessary fabric on the chest. Premio EVO Bibshort is finished with a small logo also found on the rest of the Premio EVO kit, for a sleek and modern look.
