The heart of the comfort is the top-of-the-range Progetto X2 Air Seamless chamois, composed of two distinct elements. The Skin Care Layer, soft and elastic against the skin, eliminates chafing, while the underlying Cushioning Layer uses inserts of differentiated density foam and perforated, breathable gel in areas of greater pressure, such as the ischial bones and perineum.
The construction of the shorts is also engineered for maximum comfort: only three panels and fewer seams to reduce friction points. The fabric has been developed to adapt to the different zones of the body: lighter on the thighs, with four-way stretch for muscular support, and more supportive in the pelvic area to keep the chamois in position. The rear is made with a thicker fabric to prevent transparency.
The straps, made from the same technical fabric, feature a perforated structure on the back to improve thermoregulation, with glued edges to reduce thickness.
