Originariamente creato esclusivamente per il Team Sky nel 2013, il Bolide è diventato leggendario nel 2015 quando Sir Bradley Wiggins ha utilizzato il Bolide HR per battere il Record dell'Ora. Pinarello ha poi introdotto il Bolide TT nel 2016, che ha vinto innumerevoli competizioni a cronometro durante i grandi giri, i campionati nazionali e mondiali su strada, ottenendo anche un successo senza precedenti su pista, vincendo molteplici medaglie nell'inseguimento a squadre e individuale ai campionati mondiali e alle Olimpiadi.
Building on that impressive foundation, Pinarello has incorporated the latest technological advances, including impressive recent developments in Computational Fluid Dynamics that have helped Pinarello’s engineers to significantly improve aerodynamics on the new Bolide F. Pinarello’s engineers were able to not only design a more aerodynamic bike, but also reduce the weight of the frame kit and brakes by 170g.
