Here is the new Propero 4 helmet - the aerodynamics of the S-Works Evade 3 combined with the extraordinary ventilation of the S-Works Prevail 3, plus the comfort and reliability of all Specialized helmets, and the 5-star rating from the Virginia Tech Institute®. Every detail of the Propero 4 has been designed with the equation Aerodynamics + Ventilation + Lightness = Speed in mind.
AERODYNAMICS: In the development of the Propero 4, aerodynamics was the starting point, and for this purpose, we conducted numerous CFD tests and in our wind tunnel. With the profile inspired by the S-Works Evade 3, we already gain 4 watts, or 15 seconds over a distance of 40km.
VENTILATION: Taking inspiration from the S-Works Prevail 3 helmet, we have achieved our quality goals. We incorporated the rear vents of the S-Works Prevail 3 and introduced 2 mm micro-channels that create turbulence in the airflow through the helmet, thus creating a continuous and refreshing passage of air.
