The SRAM RED Flattop E1 chain represents the pinnacle of technology and performance for the latest generation of SRAM AXS drivetrains. Designed to offer the best balance between lightness, strength, and efficiency, this chain is intended for cyclists seeking absolute performance on road and gravel bikes.

Thanks to Flattop technology, the chain features an innovative design with a flat profile that allows for a narrower, quieter, and simultaneously more robust structure compared to traditional chains. The result is a more efficient drivetrain, with smooth gear shifts and greater longevity.

The HollowPin construction with hollow pins reduces weight without compromising structural integrity, while simultaneously improving pedaling efficiency. The inner plates and rollers with Hard Chrome treatment reduce wear and increase durability, while the cut-outs in the inner and outer plates allow for further weight reduction of the chain.

Compared to the previous generation, the SRAM RED Flattop E1 is 13 grams lighter, confirming its status as one of the lightest and highest-performing chains available for 12-speed road and 13-speed gravel XPLR drivetrains.

Available in Silver and Rainbow finishes, it includes the Flattop PowerLock quick link for simple and secure installation.
