STAFFA MagCAD PER GOPRO 1050 SPECIALIZED ROVAL RAPIDE/ALPINIST II

The MagCAD mount allows you to install the Garmin Edge 1050, Edge 1040, and other Garmin Edge devices in front of the integrated Roval Rapide or Roval Alpinist II cockpit from 2025 onwards.

The design was developed specifically for the latest integrated Roval cockpits, featuring a lower device position, reduced frontal surface area, and an optimized resting profile.

Compared to the previous version designed for the Garmin Edge 1040, this mount has been extended by 7 mm to also fit the Garmin Edge 1050 correctly, while maintaining compatibility with other Garmin Edge devices.

Device tilt

Once installed:

• on the Roval Rapide cockpit, the device is tilted backward by approximately 4° from the horizontal position;
• on the Roval Alpinist II cockpit, the tilt is approximately 6°.

This slight tilt helps reduce screen reflections, improving readability during use.

The actual position and angle may vary slightly depending on the cockpit and device configuration.

Integrated GoPro mount

The lower section features a GoPro-style mount, allowing you to install:

• action cameras;
• front lights;
• other accessories compatible with the GoPro mount.

In this version, the mount is positioned further back to improve the rigidity of the support and offer a more functional position for front lights.

• manubrio Roval Rapide abbinato a un attacco manubrio Specialized in alluminio separato;
• Roval Alpinist SL cockpits manufactured from 2020 to 2024.

• 1 titanium M4 x 20 mm screw;

Assembly

Assembly is simple: the mount must be screwed into the threaded insert located on the underside of the Roval Rapide or Roval Alpinist II cockpit.

The screw must be tightened to 2.7 Nm, come indicato da Specialized.

It is recommended to:

• apply threadlocker before assembly;
• periodically check that the screw is properly tightened;
• use the safety tether provided with the Garmin device;
• use an additional safety tether when multiple devices are mounted on the same support.
