MagCAD MOUNT FOR GARMIN VARIA SPECIALIZED SWAT 20mm OFFSET

The MagCAD mount allows you to install the Garmin Varia RTL515/516 rear radar or earlier models under a Specialized saddle compatible with the SWAT system, including the latest Specialized Power saddles with Mirror technology.

The position under the saddle ensures a clean, tidy, and aesthetically pleasing installation. The device is held in a vertical position behind the saddle, ensuring reliable detection of vehicles approaching from behind.

This version features a 20 mm offset compared to the standard MagCAD mount, offering more space for a small under-saddle bag or other accessories mounted on the saddle.

The Specialized SWAT system uses two M5 threaded inserts located on the underside of the saddle. Since the position of the inserts may vary slightly between different models, some saddle and Garmin Varia combinations may not be compatible.

If the saddle is tilted forward, a custom version with a greater angle can be requested, typically produced within 2-3 weeks.

Assembly

To install the mount, simply thread the safety lanyard around one of the saddle rails and secure the mount to the underside of the saddle using the two included M5 x 16 mm screws. The Garmin Varia attaches with a simple quarter-turn rotation, just like on the original seatpost mount.
